Tiger’s Two Cents: How do I find motivation to go to class when it is optional?

My advice would be to remember how going to class benefits you. On the one hand, it feels awesome to miss without worrying about an absence affecting your grade but think about how accomplished you’ll feel knowing that you chose to go to class and learn rather than feeling like you were forced. Also, going to class may even provide you with extra advice about assignments that the professor chooses to reveal in person. If you treat each class as mandatory, even those that are optional, you can plan your day around going to class and make a routine for yourself that will ultimately keep you on top of your classes!
