They say for Valentine’s Day that all you need is love, but a few of the most fun and flirty romantic comedies never hurt anything. This list has something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of your love day plans or how you feel about the holiday. From classic romance to light-hearted fun, you can watch it all or just a little.

For the next five days, go ahead and cuddle up with your person or your pals and watch some of these movies, my valentines gift to you!

“How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” (2003)

Alright, alright, alright. First up, we have the charming story between a journalist and salesman who make a bet and find themselves in quite the situation as a result. Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson are witty and romantic in this early 2000s film. Hudson’s character also plays an important role in reminding everyone to fight for what they deserve, whether it be on Valentine’s Day or any day.

“Pretty Woman” (1990)

Next, we have the prettiest story of an unlikely couple. Vivian, played by Julia Roberts, is not what society considers a lady. But Edward, played by Richard Gere, works to turn that around. Can an escort learn what true love is, and can she leave her past behind? You won’t want to miss the answer to that.

“To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” (2018)

You’ve got mail, and it’s telling you that this recent romantic comedy is not one to miss. Lara Jean has quite the surprise when her love letters are sent out without her permission, and it might just be the best thing that could have happened. This coming-of-age film takes the audience through a journey of self-discovery and modern teenage romance.

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (1961)

In this ’60s classic, a young woman, played by the dazzling Audrey Hepburn, shows how finding yourself is the best way to find the one you love. Whatever stage of life you’re in, this iconic film will romanticize it.

“Valentine’s Day” (2010)

Finally, the big day! No matter how you feel about Valentine’s Day, this movie will validate those feelings. We see the good, the bad and the ugly through this star-studded cast, and everyone will find something to enjoy about this movie!

“Can’t Buy Me Love” (1987)

Just in case you’re really in the holiday spirit, here is an extra treat for you! High school can be tough, and young Patrick Dempsey sure knows that. When the most popular girl in school, played by Amanda Peterson, finds herself in trouble, it turns out that they both have something to offer one another.
