After returning from spring break, John Johnson, a Clemson freshman, found that his $1,400 stimulus check had gone missing from his bank account. Johnson is suing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
“A few hours after I got the vaccine, I was walking with the boys to hit up the beach in Florida,” said Johnson, whose father owns Johnson & Johnson. Johnson refused to disclose which vaccine he received in order to protect his family’s company..
Johnson said, “This guy came up to me and told me if I gave him my stimulus money, then I could get more money if I recruited other people to invest too.” Johnson told The Kitten that he normally does not partake in these sorts of schemes, but it must’ve been those “government hormones they put in the alc- vaccine- that made me agree.”
Johnson has already garnered the support of many anti-vaxxer campaigns, largely groups on Facebook, who have helped him raise over $1 million for the CDC lawsuit. Johnson hopes to dissuade Clemson students from getting the COVID-19 vaccine by hosting large gatherings at his apartment to show that “getting the virus isn’t as bad as getting the vaccine.”
