Clemson’s Parking and Transportation Services has closed its office and shut down its Tiger Transit service due to a possible exposure of COVID-19 among the staff.
A push alert was sent through the my.Clemson app about the change. The alert stated, “Nighttime Tiger Transit will be ending at 2 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22 through Sunday, Jan. 24 due to COVID implications on our staff.”
The Tiger is connecting with Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
“We are working remotely because of a precautionary shutdown due to COVID-19. We are scheduled to be back in the office on Tuesday, the 26th,” explained a recorded voicemail message from the Parking and Transportation Services office phone number.
The parking office has been closed since Jan. 20, according to a notification banner posted on the Parking and Transportation Services webpage.
