The City of Clemson announced Thursday, Jan. 28 that it is changing its COVID-19 community testing site to Nettles Park at 102 Nettles Park Rd., Pendleton, SC beginning Feb. 1. The community testing site, in affiliation with Clemson University, operates from 7 to 11am, Monday through Friday, administering free saliva PCR COVID-19 tests.
The community testing site was previously located at the Clemson Fire Substation, after being moved off-campus once students returned for the spring semester. Last week, about one thousand community members were screened (no symptoms or known exposure) with a 7.6% positivity rate.
Those interested in signing up or seeking more information should visit the City of Clemson website.
