Clemson will be without without its star linebacker on defense for the remainder of the Cheez-It Bowl. James Skalski came out of halftime on the sideline in street clothes wearing a boot on his right leg.
It is unclear when Skalski suffered the injury, but it is significant enough to keep him out of the game.
The Cheez-It Bowl will be the veteran’s last game at Clemson, so the injury puts a damper on his closing chapter as a Tiger.
