When the Clemson community needs somewhere to go grocery shopping, Publix is the clear favorite. The popular supermarket chain’s Gateway Village location has been voted Clemson’s best grocery store for the fifth year in a row, following wins in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, and it’s easy to see why.

The store is clean, well-organized and welcoming. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the food selection is excellent. Publix offers a variety of products from major manufacturers alongside their own store-brand wares.

Shoppers can pick up cakes and cookies from the bakery and meat and cheese from the deli before inspecting the store’s produce section. Publix also offers toiletries and a floral department. Best of all, it’s only a few minutes from campus, making it a convenient and high-quality option for students.
