Alcoholic Beverage Licensing notice signs were posted outside of the Douthit Community Hub and Schilletter Dining Hall earlier this week.
Both facilities have applied for an on-premise sale of beer and wine, according to the notices.
No ABL notices were found at McAlister Dining Hall or any other on-campus food locations.
Aramark Educational Services, LLC is listed as the corporation applying for this license.
Students of legal age are not permitted to possess or consume liquor, beer or wine except in designated areas, according to the University’s Community and Ethical Standards resources.
The University’s current regulations exist to “promote the health and safety” of students, according to the Office of Community and Ethical Standards.
The Alcohol and Drug Policy also states that illegal or abusive consumption of alcohol “jeopardizes the safety of the individual and others.”
Objections to the license applications can be submitted until April 30 at 5 p.m.
The Tiger has reached out to Clemson Housing and Dining for further information.

Aramark wants to make money from underage college students. Aramark has always conducted shady business practices. Research this company.
FYI: Aramark has a monopoly in food service at Clemson university. Monopolies are illegal in the United States.
