Spring’s most anticipated romance novel will finally hit shelves this April.
“Two Campuses, Two Hearts,” co-authored by Jimmy Clemnts and Mike Amrdis, follows two students at rival universities. The Tiger is your average goody two-shoes college student: he’s never gotten a “B” and is probably the most involved student on Clemson University’s campus. Everything in The Tiger’s life is going to plan until he runs into Cocky, his exact opposite, at a fall football game.
Cocky is outspoken, has a penchant for arrogance and never misses a party at the University of South Carolina. When the two are forced to work with each other at their rival football game, the Tiger and Cocky are annoyed by their differences, and tempers flare each time they interact.
The two mascots try to hold onto the notion that their rival towns raised them to believe: A gamecock and a tiger could never be together.
Although they initially hate each other, the Tiger and Cocky find themselves unable to stay away from each other for long, with their sparks constantly pulling them back to each other. Their rivalry turns to banter as their forbidden love develops.
In Clementine and Amrdis’ new novel, sparks of hate turn to love. I believe readers (whether they identify more with the Tiger or Cocky) will agree that “Two Campuses, Two Hearts” is the best romance release of 2025.
Set amidst the beautiful campus of Clemson University and the less beautiful campus of the University of South Carolina, “Two Campuses, Two Hearts” is a fantastic college romance filled with some of the genre’s most popular tropes, including forbidden love and enemies to lovers.
