In 2025, it took four games for Clemson men’s club lacrosse to score more than 15 goals. This season, the Tigers eclipsed that mark in less than three quarters.
On Friday, Jan. 30, Clemson steamrolled then-No. 14 Florida, 19-7, to open up the 2026 campaign.
Aidan McNulty was the star of the show. He scored seven goals and assisted two more under the lights on Friday, and Warrior announced him as Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Fellow Tiger Landen Snyder made the Warrior Honor Roll with a four-goal, four-assist effort.
Bench celebrations and big hits characterized the first quarter, and the Tigers dominated the game early.
Clemson commanded a 3-0 lead after the first five minutes of play thanks to Snyder, Michael Ugan and McNulty. McNulty tacked on another to close out the first quarter.
The Gators got as close as two points, scoring to start the second quarter to trail, 4-2.
It was the McNulty show from there.
The senior attackman scored four-straight goals in the second quarter — all of them punishing, low-to-high shots that rang the top shelf.
Florida limped into halftime, trailing 9-2, but the second half was no reprieve from the Clemson goalfest.
McNulty’s final goal of the game, a behind-the-back shot, made the score 18-4 midway through the fourth quarter.
Head coach Andrew Tobias pulled his starters from the game, and the Gators scored in garbage time to clean up the box score.
The Tigers were initially set to play No. 3 Tennessee on Sunday, but Saturday’s snow postponed the matchup to a later date.
Instead, Clemson returns to action on Feb. 6-7, facing Auburn on Friday night and Central Florida the following afternoon at the Auburn University Sportsplex in Auburn, Alabama.
