World Championship Photo-Op
The Atlanta Braves are bringing their World Championship Trophy to Clemson’s Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Sunday Feb. 27. Tigers and Braves fans alike are invited to take photos with the trophy from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A game ticket will be required for entry.
Spring Block Party
Clemson’s second annual Spring Block Party will take place at Tiger Park, starting at midnight on Saturday, March 5. Sean Kingston will be headlining the concert, with local artists Seabash and Hunter Holland opening the show. Seabash is a recent Clemson graduate and Holland is a current student. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with free admission available for all Clemson Students.
Spring Spirit Blitz!
Central Spirit will be hosting Spirit Blitz, the week of March 6-12. Throughout the week there will be events on campus, such as painting the paw on Bowman Field, the chance to practice waving the flags that are used on the field during home football game and opportunities to attend 11 games for different spring sports. Students who attend at least five sporting events during the week will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to win prizes such as AirPods Pro, a PS5 and other prizes donated by spring sports teams.
Student Body Primary Elections
Primary elections for Clemson’s next Student Body President and Vice-President opened on Tuesday. There are currently six tickets up for consideration. Primary election results will be provided on Friday, Feb. 25th.If no ticket receives a majority of student votes during the primary election, the top two tickets will advance to the general election, which will take place on Wednesday, March 9.
Cocky’s Funeral Returns
Cocky’s Funeral is back on Thursday March 3 at 6 p.m. in the lead up to the Clemson-South Carolina baseball series. This is a time-honored tradition in which Clemson celebrates the life and legacy of Cocky, our favorite mascot to hate.
