Tiger Briefs: Library to become fee free, candidates for student body president to be announced

Clemson National Championship Parade
In celebration of the Clemson’s Men’s Soccer 2021 National Championship, Clemson Athletics will be hosting a parade on Saturday, Jan. 15. The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Sikes Hall, and will be followed by a ceremony honoring the team at the evening’s basketball game.
Clemson Honors Podcast
Several Clemson Honors college students have launched a new podcast called “In The Spotlight.” Students Terryn Witherspoon, Aaron Woolfolk, Ashley Larkins and Jason Teets will be taking to the airways to discuss life and academic experiences at Clemson.
Library to become fee-free
As of Jan. 1, 2022, Clemson’s Libraries will no longer be charging late fees on books, CDs, DVDs and similar forms of media that are part of their main or children’s collections.
Student Government Candidates to be announced soon
Candidates for Clemson’s Student Body President and Vice President will be able to announce their candidacy later this month on Jan. 26. Only candidates for these executive positions will be announced, with candidates for Senate to be announced in the weeks following.
