Ellie Godwin // Provided
The Tigers warm up for their game against South Carolina on Jan. 28, 2023.

The Clemson ice hockey team is set to make its first Nationals appearance in program history in the AAU National Tournament in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on March 10-15.

The tournament will feature 32 teams, and Clemson will be one of eight teams from the College Hockey South Conference participating.

The tournament will feature four rounds of play: pool play, quarterfinals, semifinals and the championship game. The National Champions will be crowned on March 15.

Although the Tigers were selected to participate, they are looking to raise funds for the five-day trip.

Before the tournament, the Tigers will play their final regular season game of the 2022-23 season against South Carolina on March 3 in Columbia.
