“We try to create a little bit of elevated college food that’s very approachable for everybody in town, and an elevated space where people are excited to come and can bring their parents,” Michael Blackwell, manager of Evolve Kitchen + Table, told The Tiger in an interview. “So they come from out of town, and we try to deliver great service and meet the needs of the students as well as the greater community.”
The Evolve Kitchen + Table menu accentuates an element of sophistication highlighted throughout the restaurant. The graceful food pairs well with engaging conversations that parents bring to the table while reconnecting with their children.
The restaurant and its staff consistently aim to appeal to the greater area of Clemson, outside of solely the student population. Families flock to the dining facility every day, making the restaurant a hot spot for weekend lunches, brunches and dinners.
Evolve Table + Kitchen has won the best location for students to bring their parents multiple times, curating a sense of community and pride within the workings of the restaurant.

“It’s amazing that we get some positive feedback from the community and the University and the students because we’re right here. We’ve been here for five plus years, and we’re just excited to continue that tradition here,” Blackwell told The Tiger.
