The Douthit Hills Community Hub stands out as a premier dining destination for students and faculty at Clemson University. Whether it’s a hearty brunch after a late night of studying, a quick lunch between classes or a warm dinner to end the day, “the Hub,” as students call it, has become a staple of campus life.
Located on the third floor of the Douthit Hills building in the center of the housing complex, the Community Hub operates from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and reopens on Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., providing a convenient dinner option before the week begins.
Inside, the Hub offers high-top tables, booths and open seating to accommodate both small and large groups. Its modern décor and spacious layout create an inviting space where students can relax, refuel and reconnect with friends amid busy schedules.
The salad station features a build-your-own assembly line with fresh vegetables, proteins, cheeses, croutons and dressings, along with yogurt, granola and fruit for lighter fare. Nearby, the pizza station serves customizable pies made with fresh dough and a variety of toppings.
At the front of the dining hall, the fusion station rotates international dishes daily, highlighting Italian, Mediterranean, Latin and Asian-inspired cuisine. Students can enjoy pasta, tacos and teriyaki-style chicken bowls, or visit the Bento Sushi station for sushi rolls, poke bowls, udon and bento boxes.
The grill and deli add even more variety, offering burgers, chicken tenders and classic sides alongside made-to-order sandwiches. For dessert, homestyle favorites and sweet treats, including cookies and parfaits, round out the meal.
Beyond dining, the first floor features a P.O.D. market, Freshens, Starbucks and the Clemson Bookstore. The second floor houses the Douthit Hills Fitness Center with equipment and fitness classes. Together, these amenities make Douthit Hills a convenient, all-in-one space that supports students’ everyday needs.
