In terms of overall academics, Clemson takes the No. 1 spot, with South Carolina falling behind both Clemson and Furman, with the No. 3 spot.
Further, both business schools within the universities are recognized, with Clemson taking the No. 1 ranking, with South Carolina trailing right behind at No. 2. South Carolina has the top-ranked school in the state for international business.
Both schools have a strong presence within the accounting departments, with Clemson ranking No. 1 and South Carolina ranking No. 2.
Clemson’s engineering school is ranked top 50 in America, while South Carolina places within the top 150.
Niche ranks both schools with an A letter grade. Clemson’s letter grades break further down into an A-plus for academics, an A-plus for professors and an A-plus for student life. South Carolina’s letter grades include an A for academics, an A for professors and an A-plus for student life.
