Tiger Town Tavern, fondly nicknamed Triple T’s, has been a prominent locally owned Clemson bar for decades. Established in 1977, the tavern continues to thrive as a favorite for Clemson students, locals and alumni. Their iconic logo – a cartoon tiger sitting in a pint of beer – can be seen throughout the bar and the town of Clemson. Shirts, growlers, stickers and hats bearing the familiar drawing continue to build a family of recognizable Tiger Town Tavern fans.
With fairly priced food and drink, this bar has something for everyone. Brandt Clark, a senior construction science and management major, said “It has a community kind of feel, it can be really chill but also crazy on a busy night or gamedays.”
TTT’s also offers a more exclusive experience with their private club, Top of the Tavern. For a one time fee of $10, members can relax and drink on the second floor of the bar while enjoying a free game of pool.
No matter what you’re looking for, TTT’s is probably the answer. Oh, and don’t forget to buy a growler on the way out!
