The results of the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government president and vice president primary election, which took place on Feb. 19, are in.
The election was a close race between the three tickets. Eli Warnock and Ally Fields, with 1,263 votes, and Zach Freeman and Maya Khaskhely, with 1,170 votes, will move on to the CUSG general election.
Daniel Ocampo and Bailee Tayles have been removed from the running, as their vote percentage totaled 30.59% compared to Warnock and Fields’ 36.03% and Freeman and Khaskhely’s 33.38%.
The general debate between the two remaining tickets will occur on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. in Daniel Hall Room 105. The general election will follow on Wednesday, March 5.
General election results will then be announced on Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. in the Carillon Gardens.
