Clemson University is home to numerous delicious sandwich spots, but none are better than Groucho’s Deli.
Whether you want your sub hot or cold, Groucho’s Deli has you covered. The deli has a wide variety of sandwiches on its menu, including its most popular sandwich, the STP Dipper, that comes with either their traditional Formula “45” sauce or their “Danish Bleu” sauce. Other standout sandwiches are their Apollo Dipper and Mid East Special.
The deli first opened its doors in Columbia, South Carolina in 1941 by Harold “Groucho” Miller, and it quickly exploded there. In 2000, it began expanding outside of Columbia, and a store eventually found itself in Clemson, thankfully!
Not only are they committed to delivering quality food, but they strive to help the communities where they have stores. Through “Groucho’s Gives Back,” local organizations can partner with Groucho’s Deli for percent nights and events.
