The restaurant’s indoor setup maintains a homey feel with warm lighting, friendly staff, hand-drawn chalkboard menus and picnic bench seating. The walls are signed with previous customers’ sweet notes and signatures, and the comforting background noise of a well-operated kitchen constantly fills the air.
The Smokin’ Pig offers a plethora of food options with sandwiches, BBQ and combination plates (both served with two sides and a roll), the “Pigglet” menu (kid meals served with one side), smoked meats and sides.
The menu is made up of Southern classics with meats such as pork, chicken, ribs and brisket, as well as an abundance of side options. Sides include macaroni and cheese, Brunswick stew, french fries, sweet potato fries, fried okra, baked beans, potato salad, seasonal vegetables, banana pudding and more.
One of the restaurant’s most unique aspects is the four different sauces that are delegated to each dining table. One is an original BBQ sauce, another is tangy and mustard-based, one is hot and spicy and the last is light and sweet. These sauces allow customers to flavor and customize their meals to their liking.
