If you’re looking for somewhere to shop for your weekly groceries, the Clemson community says Publix is, by far, the best.

With a convenient location just a few minutes from campus in Gateway Village, Publix attracts thousands of customers. The store is surrounded by several other services, including restaurants, a gym and a nail salon, allowing members of the community to complete their errands efficiently.

In addition to its vast stock of food items, Publix has warm meals made daily, a soup bar, a deli that serves specialty subs, a bakery and a fresh sushi area with $5 rolls every Wednesday.

Publix offers a welcoming atmosphere, generous employees and a variety of options at reasonable prices, which keeps people returning to shop. In fact, Publix has won Best Grocery Store for the past five years, making 2025 its sixth consecutive victory.

“Of course, we’re happy about winning. I thank the Clemson community for continuing to choose us,” a Publix manager told the Tiger in an interview.
