On Saturday, Dec. 20, the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body in Lake Hartwell.
At around 2:25 p.m., deputies received a call about human remains near the Clemson Experimental Forest. They later identified the man as 27-year-old Clemson alumnus Swapnil Srivastava, ‘24.
Srivastava was last seen in his apartment on Dec. 6. His car was found at a parking area on R.C. Edwards School Road in the Clemson Experimental Forest, according to Fox Carolina.
The autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 22. Officials say that the investigation is ongoing.
