Blue Heron is located in downtown Pendleton.

Since 2002, Blue Heron has been a staple in the Clemson area and serves members of the Upstate with excellent fine dining and service. With unparalleled dining options and a welcoming interior dining experience, Blue Heron is this year’s winner for the best first date spot in Clemson.

Located in the heart of downtown Pendleton, Blue Heron is a hidden gem for customers who have had the chance to visit. Not only is it the perfect dinner date scene, but it is also located near other shops and boutiques, as well as a bakery and small brewery for other evening activities. Dates can both start and end at Blue Heron, with various activities located nearby.

Only a short ride down the road from Clemson’s campus and downtown area, Clemson students can easily make the trip as a getaway from the busy campus and enjoy a relaxing evening without the hustle and bustle of a college town.

With prices that both college students and tourists can afford and a menu encompassing a wide variety of options, its dinner selections are unparalleled. The menu includes items ranging from surf to turf, sushi to chicken and plenty of vegetarian options for all.

The restaurant also offers over 125 wines and 20 offerings by the glass to choose from, along with locally-sourced ingredients, including premium Black Angus beef and East Coast-sourced seafood for customers.

The atmosphere is one to remember; it is comfortable and cozy yet elegant and accommodating for a fancy date or casual catch-up. The mood is contagious for all that dine in.

When searching for your next date night spot, consider taking a trip to Blue Heron to experience their unique wine flavors or various menu items for an experience you won’t forget.
