For the fourth year in a row, Loose Change has come out of Best of Clemson polling with Best Burger securely in hand. After visiting myself, I can see why this quintessential dive bar has its customers coming back again and again.
The patty is seared and seasoned to perfection, with cheese melted over the top, smothered within a perfectly toasted bun and finished off with your choice of toppings. Loose Change has taken one of the simplest concepts of food and made it excellent by keeping it true to its concept — simple.
Nobody comes to Loose Change for artisanal ingredients on their cheeseburgers. It’s the simplicity of the arrangement that makes the burger.
The build-your-own nature of Loose Change’s burgers puts the dish over the top. It’s your burger, dressed the way you want it, because you’re the one eating it.
Pair the burger with a basket of crispy, seasoned fries and a cold draft beer, and you’ve got one of the best meals you can find on College Avenue.
