Thing of the week: restaurant

New to the bar scene in downtown Clemson, the bar and grill known as Sauced offers amazing deals on food and drinks. I was first introduced to Sauced when a few of my friends and I visited on a Wednesday to play trivia and eat the half-priced chicken tenders. Not only was the trivia game super fun (my team “Earth, Wind, CATbus” won best team name), but the chicken tenders and appetizers were amazing.
True to its name, Sauced offers a wide variety of sauces to dip things in, ranging from the “house sauce” to the “hot little honey” sauce. You might be saying, “Oh, well, it’s not hard to make cheap and tasty chicken tenders, what makes Sauced so much better than anywhere else?” Well, I have one word for you: frickles. That’s right, those cut up and fried slices of pickles go oh so well with the house sauce. Even if you don’t like frickles, this restaurant offers many other appetizers like “Vegas fries” and “mozzarella pepperoni hush puppies” in addition to many more.
With excellent food and trivia, Sauced also offers a great bar scene. Countless beers on tap contributes to an amazing atmosphere to relax and hang out with friends and meet new people. On top of that, they offer many unique and tasty house cocktails, such as the “Sweet Carolina.” With so many options for drinks, food and socializing, Sauced has truly become a great place to go and enjoy. So, next time you and your friends are hungry and have a hankering for trivia, chicken tenders, drinks, sandwiches — you name it — head over to Sauced and relish in the tasty and cheap experience!
