In the fourth season of “The Traitors US,” an unlikely friendship arose between Rob Rausch, who is well known for his contributions to “Love Island” season six, and Lisa Rinna, an actor and a housewife of Beverly Hills, when they were named as traitors on one of the most anticipated seasons yet.
Shortly after Rausch won “The Traitors,” the two connected once again to announce they are going on tour to host snake-wrangling competitions, and one of those locations is no other than Clemson’s Lake Hartwell.
Before Rausch became a public figure, he was living in the middle of nowhere in Alabama, catching snakes and traveling to do so. Now that he has the fanbase, he decided to take the snake wrangling on the road with Lisa Rinna by his side.
After the finale of “The Traitors,” Rinna helped Rausch acquire a Birkin bag for another contestant on the show. Since then, their friendship has continued to blossom, and soon Clemson students will have the opportunity to witness it and even compete.
Rausch is very familiar with the types of snakes that may roam around Lake Hartwell, and Rinna is an expert at dealing with snakes on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The dynamic duo plans to have many activities to keep the fans busy, including a lengthy apology, spanning about an hour, from Rausch to Rinna for getting her voted off on “The Traitors.”
The competition will consist of 24 pairs who will travel into the uncharted areas of Lake Hartwell to attempt to find snakes. The competition will last eight hours and feature live feeds following the teams. As the teams compete, spectators will be allowed to sit along the rowing docks, with the wife of Harry Hamlin and Robby Bobby adding commentary.
The two will take the snake-hunting competition across the South, starting in Alabama, where Rausch lives, before traveling to Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas.
The city of Clemson is in full support of the competition bringing excitement to the town.
“I’m really looking forward to the competition,” Spoke Sperson from the city of Clemson told The Kitten. “There are so many invasive species here, although I have never seen a single snake.”
In the initial press release, Rausch noted that the snakes will not be captured, but it is more about teaching everyone that snakes are misunderstood and increasing the knowledge about the different types of snakes.
The competition does not go without a prize, as Rausch and Rinna announced that the winner of each competition will receive their own Birkin bag, paid for by Rausch’s earnings from “The Traitors.”
The competition will take place on April 31, at 4:01 p.m.
